Ethical issues

WAGE world net companies pursue a positive agenda regarding all employment and ethical issues and policies. This involves the following:

  • Only using factories that do not use or exploit child labour in any way.
  • Only using factories that do not use forced labour or prison labour, or attempt to exploit any other vulnerable groups.
  • Only using factories that ensure that local working time directives and regulations are always enforced.
  • Only using factories that ensure that local Health & Safety regulations are strictly enforced. Only using factories that ensure that all local employment laws and regulations are strictly enforced.
  • Only using factories that have satisfactory working conditions and facilities for all members of staff to use. Only using factories that remunerate at a minimum of locally agreed and accepted rates of pay.
  • Only using factories that pursue equal opportunities policies regarding race, colour, sex, religion, ethnic origin, gender or disability.
  • All WAGE world net companies also pursue a policy of equal opportunities for all staff employed within our their office.
  • This means we strictly abide by regulations covering: working time directives, minimum wage levels, Health & Safety standards and offering equal opportunities for all applicants when we recruit new team members.
